Title: Gothica
Name: Marc Simonetti
Country: France
Software: Painter, Photoshop
This piece is entitled Gothica.
It represents a Big gothic unoccupied old town.
I wanted to use the light to show how brillant was the civilisation that built this city.
As you'll see it, I forced the perspective to accentuate the depth of the pic.
I hope you'ill like it!
Comments are most welcome.
Thanks!

I like it. The forced perspective gives is a grand feeling. Bathed in sunlight... I dig. Great work.

Amazing work. My only crit would be the thiner tower close to the most highlited one, wich seems to be less contrasted than the rest of the image.
But anyway, I love your painting, great work

Looks great, I'd like to see some darker contrast in some of the windows, it might help to bring out the detail. Keep em coming.

Hi,
Very nice pict you have !!! I like the ink texture , and the whole ambience.
I think some parts of it should be more detailed : under the arcade of the cathedral, the grey tower on the left.
Well done !

WHOA .. .very funky. You've distorted my sense of perspective lol! Very cool to attempt stuff at a distorted angle. Nice work :)
Amazing image.. my only critic i'ts about a detail at the top-left of the image.. the hole in the roof of that tower... i don't know why but it seems a little "underdone" for the great quality of the rest of the picture. It seems more like a bite than a collapsed roof...

Beautiful and mysterious. The perspective is vertiginous and adds to the mystery.
I have a question. Despite the lighting and palette, is this underground?
Spooky.

I was just flipping through some of your stuff and noticed this truly amazing piece, I was just wondering If anyone has mentioned the gargoyle on the bottom left side looks rather phallic?
