:applause: Very nice work - the loaders give a great sense of scale. Fantastic work.

The first version is so cool. Greatly modelled and textured, you also picked up a good lighting and depth. Great work!!!

the chimney things with the red checkers really stand out though.....
id look at moving them into the background a bit more
11-24-2004, 02:08 PM
this is really nice work! I love everything about it-love the sense of scale. nicely done:thumbsup: i think you could use a slight DOF for the bkg though..but just knit picking here

Nice!!! I love the mood of this scene! Great modeling, great details, great lights
11-24-2004, 03:18 PM
very fine detail. you really got what they call SPECIAL.
i wonder what if after render...
Lovely details. Something is bothering me about the colors in both scenes I really cant tell what it is. But render itself is gorgeous.

fantastic work, excellent design! :)

I like this piece... but I too feel that the red checkers stand out way to much. The overall feel of the scene is cold. An overwhelming amount of machines with little to no life. I would consider adding figures. In a place as vast as this, it is tough to take in the whole scope without some workers not riding around in loaders. Yet I guess that if you were trying to show a diminishing workforce due to machinery, then bravo. Hit the nail on the head.

Outstanding concept and execution. Very well acomplished sense of magnificence with sense of scale. However I think that more variation in color will benefit this image, Iīm talking about some accesories, hoses, flanges, tubes... in different color than main structures. At first look, you canīt tell differences in material between parts. They look as the same material.
11-24-2004, 10:08 PM
Very nice! Second one has a great atmosphere
11-25-2004, 08:13 AM
Very nice details and design. Amazing work:thumbsup:
11-25-2004, 01:27 PM
:applause: Nice work maan , liked the lighting very much n G8 modeling too...
P.O - * scene needs some texture variation ( may be of same colour but diffrent intenseity ) * change texture on the two tallest towers ( did'nt fit the mood of the scene) * N if you wanna go further - then try to improve the enviroment on the farest side ( may be you have to make the horizion more bright) .....Anyways maan i realy like the lighting ...love da work

Outstandig, but i would really like to see more colors in it, im sure it would change the mood, but its worth trying and testing what would come out. And also some close up renders would be nice, with so much detail lost with distance... :applause:
Great sence of scale . Excellent !
11-26-2004, 05:49 PM
I like the second one best, as the first one has a sky that is too "clean" or unpolluted, which with all the chimneys etc, is difficult.
Very good work
11-29-2004, 03:56 AM

i was working on a counter-strike map sort of like that.. nowhere near as complex

12-21-2004, 10:12 AM
My wallpaper now!
 It's the kind of picture people have to take a little time to watch in deep!
Just one small critic on the bending of the right side tubes.
But don't you care. You gave us a nice piece of environment!
keep it up!
12-22-2004, 11:39 AM
The balance between the tubes and flat surfaces really make this fun to look at!

You should do a "night scene" with the same factory. It would be cool to see a day vs. night compairison. Otherwise, it great!
