Title: Environment: House Interior
Name: Ahmet ElgİnÖz
Country: Turkey
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

This is a remake of an old interior design. I tried to show a left over room with a letter and a ring. I tried to make the impression of a rejection scene, somebody being rejected for being too snob..

The house is heavily decorated and without taste, I am trying to show the distastefullnes of expansive and heavily decorated living rooms. The wallpaper, the lamps and other furniture was selected to look ugly.

Comments are welcome.

Great work, but light is too omogeneous, points of light are very defined, lamps and windows.
Beside the rightmost window does not match the external view of others windows.
Through second window from right you can see the extenal balcony, but you don't see it through the first one from right. But from what I can understand about structure of balcony through windows, you should be able to see balcony through the rightmost window too..

Good job my friend. It is nice to see that "WE" can do it as well in 3D. I am working on an interior project as well(not so complicated though) and probably will post it soon. I really took some insight from your render. I am expecting your comments on my work as well. To make the scene look more realistic, here are my suggestions.

1- Are the lights on the walls lit? If so, their shadows and glows ae missing.
2- The ceiling looks too CG. Try using crossed tiles or maybe more than 1 texture map.(I usually used different parts of the msae texture with Max.)
3- Just a suggestion: For outside, use an image where you can at least see the horizon because from the point where we are looking at the picture, we should at least see the horizon.
4- THe legs of the coffee table: If you can, rotate mapping 90 degrees so the legs look more natural.
5- Last but the most important. Everything on the scene looks brand new inlcuding the wallpapers, couches etc. Try to make some wear on the wallpaper(like color fades), wear on the leather on some parts of the couches or even some dirt. It will add to the scene a lot.

Again, good job and keep up the good work. I am expecting to see more...

Best regards,

Tufan

I like the furniture. I agree with your intention that it looks stuffed. And with the change in the background, it improved dramatically. The table lamps are too glowy, I believe the screen is supposed to be of fabric, so I dont think they would glow like that. I love the balcony.
