Ok I'm going for manga chick type, this is just a female character body prototype for www.sanctuslegacy.com (http://www.sanctuslegacy.com), my soul responsibility is modeling :) she is 2354 tries and the target maximum is 2500..

When You do it?? You are sometimes tired?? Sleeping, eating, drinking, something like that?? I take one day breathing, and today I doing something.
Anyway, looks nice but, give some orthographic(something like that), becouse I think she have too small hands.
For now looking great. I hope You will rig her (maybe some face skinning??:P)

Looking real good Hanzo the proportions are looking spot on! I sort of agree with Por@szek on the hands but maybe its not the hands and more so the size of the forearm going into the hand, cause hey after all girls do have small hands!
I like the in turned feet, always looks cool on females. Are you gonna texture this one?

The reason things might look kinda funny, is because I don't leave max at the default lens angle in the views that I work in, normally it's 40, I have mine set to 85 so it's more then twice refracted angle. I do this to give me a better understanding of the models shape from a smaller view, plus it's more like the humane eye. sorry about that lil mix up.. http://www.sanctuslegacy.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif
keeganb_2000 I don't need to do the texture for that team I'm working with (that's not my responsibility), but hey what the hell, I'll make the textures to have really nice version just to slap on my site.. :twisted:

yea,,rely good work I did like the manga style....but yea the hands seems to litle the legs are maybe a litle bit to big...and the face if you realy wanted a manga style..shoold be a litle bit more triangular...and bigger maybe.....but the rest seem prety good....maybe there is to much polygone for the ass...but..it is so hard to do a girl..didnt as done a good girl yet..I got to try harder...but yours is prety cool..dont stop^^

Hey, great work Hanzo! I like the mesh and the loops look like they are in the right place.
The only crit I would say would be some of the lack of tapering around the wrist, knee, and lower ankle. They need to come in more, like, the wrist needs to be thinner before the hand begins.
Here's a pic of what I mean:
I totally give you kudos, though. It's hard to model a female base mesh(male's are easier) because of all the soft and subtle detail. Even the slightest movement of one vert can totally change the character.
My approach was similar to yours, build a femal "base mesh", then model around it. I learned a lot from this experience.

thanks podman, this really helps :) I will make these tweaks soon as I get the chance, but right now i'm kinda slown down with lots of work to do.. :shrug:

the elbow seems alittle high. remember generally the elbow is on the same plane with the belly button on a human figure. Bring it down a bit. the neck looks alittle thick maybe.
