Ok here it is

Just starting off - this will be my first major painting from scratch

I like the face and shoulder join area of the closest arm....still a lot of work ahead...[click]undo filter...

I think you jumped to filters and effects too quickly - the painting itself could use some more work - there's an issue with his overall head shape / looks like an uppercut mangled his jaw line.

Other than than I like it - keep it up :)

Thanks Gryphon - ya i tend preview an approximation of the final product while still working on it now that you mention it it does look like he just got in a fight (his jaw) I'll work on the painting some more.

Applied a watercolor filter - i like how it cuts the lines - i'll probably add some smoothing and then add a background.

Well I think that's it. I think that the 2nd last picture really appeals to me the most - the water color filtered one. I think I'm going to try and learn how to paint like that or paint to prepare for a good water filter. I don't know if thats a 'proper' method of painting but all I know is that that is the style that most appeals to me. I see a few people viewed this hoped you liked it. And I'll continue to paint and improve my skills.
