View Full Version : resolution between softwar and MR

I am playing with depth of field using this dof shader from highend.
this seems to be only supported by the software renderer.

my beauty pass is rendered with mental ray and when I overlay the two renderings (beauty and dof / MR and software) they dont fit.

the dof layer rendered with software seems to be stretched horizontaly and doesnt fit the beauty pass. the resolution settings in maya were the same. is this a common problem? do MR and software never fit?
Or perhaps there is a dof shader that works with mr?
