Hey all.

I've been asked to create an african character alla Grace Jones. It's been fun till now but i'm strugling with the hair.

Could anyone suggest any way or tuts to do african hair, i was thinking of making a procedural shader like a microphone foam, what do you think?

if you have access to shag hair you can do it with ease. Otherwise it would depend on how detailed you need to get. Post a pic of your WIP.

I think we have shag hair somewhere, but have never used it.
Can't post the wip as i don't have permission yet.

Would you be able to give some quick hints for shag hair as i've never used it before.
