Hi,
I was working in PS CS one day and I think i accidently pressed something, and now when im using my brush and use ALT to pick a new color from my picture, it puts the color in my background and not foreground color. How can I set it back to the default behaviour?

Go to the colour palette.

On the left-hand side, there are two boxes that mimic foreground/background in the toolbox.
One of those will have a black outline around it.
The one with the black outline indicates if fore/back will receive new colour from the eyedropper.
To change, just click on the one that you want to receive.
