Black and White mel script

I cannot answer this question as I am not a Maya user. However, I think somebody'd want to know: Do you want a desaturated image or a luminosity image? Those are two very different images.

Also, they may want to know why ya want a script for that vs. taking it to Photoshop or something. :)

or you could check out the shaders section at http://www.highend3d.com/maya/shaders/

and look for the "sin" shader if that's what you want...and if not...just desaturate your images in photoshop...or whatever program you use...
