rush123 11-20-2004, 05:03 PM Having set up 3 or so cameras, how would I go about looking through each one in the viewport ?
Thanks

This still does not allow me to see through the selected camera, or I'm doing something wrong ?

Yes, otherwise it would work ;)
- You must select the camera view in the viewport. (little "c" button in the upper left of the world view)
- The desired camera must be active (like I explained above).
I don't think there is anything else you can do wrong?
BTW. With the little "o" button you can use any object as camera (always looking along positive Z)
If this still doesn't help you, can you post a screenshot? It is hard to tell what somebody is doing if you can't see anything :)

For clarification: You have to right-click EXACTLY on the little eye symbol of the camera in the item list. If the camera is active, the eye is opened, otherwise it is closed. Thought I mentioned that since it took a while until I figured it out myself ...

Many, Many thanks Suricate, I thought I was going mad! Yep you have to right click on the Icon, and the Icon changes.

Another hint: you can right click on the "c" (camera) button in the world view while it is selected, wich makes it turn grey - now you can cycle through the available cameras by left clicking on it :)

hehehehe - it is always funny if you use a software for over 4 years - you just can't remember how things work since it has gone into your "hardware". I wouldn't have thought of mentioning clicking on the icon since I always click on the icon anyway... LOL
Cool you found it.
...and reading the manuals can really help with such basic stuff - they are very good and a lot of fun! You will find a lot of cool stuff in there...
