haha, yea, I was wondering the same thing, but mainly due to the fact that ZBrush 1.5 is about to be released and I sort of think the ZSphere tech is somewhat simular...

though I think that ZBrush has perhaps taken it to the next level, as well has placed this into a overall very robust 2.5d paint package...

Organica is another app that uses the blob approach...

I remember organica from Years ago, but until recently never knew anyone who used it to good effect.
