Hi there,

I've just got a new 2.5 ghz G5 with 4.5 GB's of ram and with C3's caching set to 100% the cache meter and the caching preference's see only 2gb's. Is this the maximum that combustion will allow? Or am I doing something wrong/ missing something? Or is it an apple osx/ combustion limitation?

If anyone has any idea's on this your thoughts and help would be gratefully appreciated.

32 bit applications can only use between 1.5-2.5 gig of ram. You have to wait till they rewrite it for 64 bit before it can use more.

many thanks for the reply, it's a shame but it's still more available ram than I had before so I'll go for the cup is half full on that one.
