Nicely done, the only thing is that it seemed to be sped up . . . like it was made for 15 fps but was playing at 30?
Otherwise, good animation, I like the style. . . I don't like the lighting in this one . . . I think it's a little dark. . .
Anyway, great work.

Great fun, very well animated. The AVI seams to run fine. The lower frame rate seams to give it an appealing rougher edge too especially as the troll has a classic claymation look to him.
Great animation and sound effects.

Thanks Guys, yes you were right Thunder boy! It was actually playing at 30 frames persecond, I fixed it noe though. and now runs at the right speed! Take another look and tell me if you notice the difference!!

hi mike
Thanks for that. The stop motion effect it exactly what i wanted the style to be. Very fast movment and. I was going to use radiosity but rendering times were something stupid like 1 and a half hours long for i frame and there were 800 frames. You do the math!! So i decided to rener a low res version for the time being!! Oh yeah Nexysis what an exactent film i seen just now good stuff!!!!
Blue MoonX what did you mean by it looks look??
There is a hi res version onit's way even as we speak. I will let you know onece it's rendered!
Thanks guy's

The zipped avi played fine on my Mac with divx.... like the modeling, motion, style, sounds. Don't understand why peeps want to see hi res version of movie, some jpegs would do, surely? Or has everyone got broadband?

Great sense of motion as someone said, loved it. But I would like it to be a little better lit, right now it's all a tad bit dark. Good job!

Hi Tottebias
Your completely right about the light ing thing. The only reason it was like that is because i rendered in in low Res with 1 less light. However in the Hi res one which will be uploaded as soon as it finishes will be lighter and Better quality and will be no more than 2 meg?? 'He says' i will notify you! Thanks guy's for you positive response!!!

Nice work neolee40. I think your weight test animation is a success. Nice poses as well. The only thing that bothered me was that it looked stop motion but then I read that's what you were going for....so, it's great!
Looking forward to your next one.

Good job, man!
The stop motion effect looks very nice, specially at the beginning.
And weight is perfectly... accomplished. :)
Those noisy laughters bothered me a bit, and character's design is not as good as the animation itself, but that's just an opinion.
Well done. Keep it up.

Nice! Loved the work on the legs and nice to see something CG that doesn't look slowed down and rubbery. Wouldn't mind seeing it at higher res too even though I'm not on broadband. :D :)

hey guy s i got a problem. Whenyou render stuff out as high res do you render it as single image targa file? then put them into premiere? Cause i just spent 4 days rendering out as jepg's and it's not that great a quality and there seems to be a funny distortionacross the top????
And idea's???

I usually render out as Targas cos then there's no image loss and you got the alpha should you need it.......however whether Targa or Jpeg.. you shouldn't have the distortion.....see if that happens with Targas.. cos if it does, the problem is obviously elsewhere. :)
