Here is my latest work created with Maya and Zbrush. I started from a simple poly cage created in maya, that i sculpted and refined in Zbrush up to 1.3 million polys. I added subtle wrinkled i 2.5D mode afterwards.
methinks you posted this in the wrong forum. This is finished gallery+cgtalk award material!
Would you mind posting the base poly cage?

This Still looks to me like a work in progress, as in some areas he or she(kinda looks female) still looks younger, the lips and around the lip area more fine wrinkles, also the shadeing might be working against you,as a more realistic shader with skin blotches which you find in the older generation, its on its way to being a great study in the human character, and nice to see a non monster study as well,a lot harder i think.
You should check out Dick Smiths Make-ups on old men, such as Little Big Man make up for Dustin Hoffman

Goon : here is the base mesh i used. It's quite dense, but i was searching a good generic head model topology. I attemped to post this picture on the finished work forum, without succes... mayby because of the Wip-like look of the pic... i don't really know
Dazzan : I wasn't trying to create a realistic skin shader, but i was looking for a more classical look. Did you also checked the makup of David Bowie in The Hunger ?

You Mean the guy who did the Hunger also did Little Big Man right?
I think make up artists and cg artist are very much the same really.
And i am a big fan of Dick Smith.
Anyway good work!
Super impressionnant Francois !!!
Keep up the great work !
