This is a tiny sketch I made on my notepad just to show the idea I will try to illustrate and a little sense of composition for the final layout.

As a theme, I thought of the massive exodus of an entire civilisation leaving their homeworld for whatever reason (obviously something very scary).

I decided to go for a vertical layout, since I wanted to give a sense of hugeness and extrem size, with a top-down camera view showing tall cargo-ships scattered all around an area of the planet, some already taking off, some still waiting for influx of people to step in.

The design of the cargo-ships is still very basic (looks too much like FF alienships currently) but the idea of a shape pointing upward like an arrow is something I want to keep.
