I think your models are looking good, but the scene cries out for help in drama, and that "grand opera" theme that the judges are looking for. May I suggest you conjure up a tale about this world of Cyberdog. Establish a more dynamic POV (point of view) that helps us really be there.

Is the dog being walked in a park? Is it like a werewolf that walks upright? What is going on in the picture?
