hi peoples,

been meaning to enter this challenge, but uni has been getting in the way. I'm done now.. forever

I suppose I will need to get my concept confirmed by the mods because I'm not sure if it fits entirely in their plan.
To me an opera screams 'tradgey' often intwined with some great irony. So my concept involves two guys doing the spacewalk thing on the wing of their spaceship. Only problem is the tether of one of the guys has broken and he's floating out of reach of the ship. The other man is reaching for him but is at the limit of his tether and can't quite grab him, even at full stretch.

the other part of the concept that I'm not so sure about, but is more likely to bring the overall piece into line with the "grand" criteria. was to have a large scale nuclear war going on (on an earthlike planet) behind the two. Thus framing the irony that even though the one guy is trying to save the other who is likely to die out in space, death waits both regardless.

sheese, reading all that it sounds pretty morbid. but I think it could work.
I'll post some concepts soon
