Hello,
maybe this is a frequently asked question, but I couldn't find the right answer yet.
I am going to buy a new video card. I'd like to use it for XSI and some PC Games, especially because HL2 is coming soon ;)
Confused by many Benchmarks and the model numbers (5900, 5900XT, 6600, 6600GT, ...) I'd like to know, which card is worth its price for good XSI and gaming Performance. I also read many display bug reports. And the noise-level of the fan should be silent enough to work with it :)
My PC Configuration is
AMD Athlon 2800+
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
512 MB (thinking about upgrading it to 1 GB)
and a GeForce 2 GTS Pro wih 64 MB (never had problems, great Card with XSI)
I'd like to spend about 200 €/$ - 230 €/$ for it
