Latest Update: Concept Sketch: The woman engraved; concept no.2

This is the second sketch, now in the vertical position. It might act as a guarding symbol of the city, but i've imagined to be at least 1.5 or 2 times higher than the city itself. Something like nature itself guarding the empire

E, hvala, decko, ti si bas azuran... Overavash konkurenciju :) ? Jesi li ti isao u Chiron letos, u 3D1?
Anyway, my idea for this challenge is to depict the creation of a great monument that sets a milestone to the civilisation. I have read lots of Sci-fi when I was a kid, and one of my most favorite were the Dune series by Frenk Herbert and Asimov's "Foundation" and all the books related to it. My visual inspiration for this is mostly from the work of Sorayama Hajime and Some designs from "A.I.", like the Rouge City, and those women-shaped buildings... but not so explicit.
Allthough I like StarWars, StarTrek, Star*.*, I'm kinda sick of all the 'epic wars' and depicting scenes of vast destructon, so I'm really not into that. 'Though I have seen some pretty nice work from the rest of the crowd in this challenge, so I guess it might still work... If someone puts a bit of originality into it.
The way I see it, this enormous Empire is at the height of its power and evolution, and they're building a monument to their might. My vision is to combine a human form into a building that will have aesthetical, as well as functional and psychological qualities, that is it should look beautiful and grand, it should have purpose, and it should evoke fear and admiration on anyone that sees it. It's gonna be a figure of a woman, but in what form I havent exactly decided yet...
... Ok, enough bull***t from me, I'll have some concept art within a few days. Till then, I'd like to hear what do people think of the idea...
Bye and Thanks!

Ok, this is not a final image, but it should be an important part of my scenery. I imagined it like a mountain rising over the capitol city of this intergalactic empire, with the pregnant woman sorta engraved into the mountain, carved by nature itself. I haven't clarified the story behind the image in my head yet, but it's getting there.
