View Full Version : Max6 crashing on HDRI file opening

My max6 crashes on large HDRIs (1024x512 sometimes and definately 3000x N). I get an unhandled error exception and it shuts down.
The hdr plugin is the embedded splut plug. Do you have any other plugins to suggest or a way to come around this problem?

save as a floating point tiff with hrdi shop -- www.debevec.org (http://www.debevec.org). floating point tiffs are suppoted out of box no plugins needed.

thanks for the reply, i will give it a try n let you know.
I presume i will be able to control the radiance of the tiff from the RGB output option as with HDRs right?
