Hi!

Is it possible to make this kind of material with Cinema? http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6980 . Can you make that multi-layer in cinema?

Possibly with the Nukei SLA shader or Danel shader {3d volume}

Kai will probably know how to convert it all :thumbsup:

you said basically what needs to be said, the main things isn't the example isn't doing anything too complex, simplest thing you could do to copy is just add a lumas channel shader, it automatically gives you three layers of specularity. There a re other ways to mix specularity. For car paint, I would simply use danel, or if your a little more advanced make your own danel using chanel shaders and then you will have a little more control not toomention tha ability to mix materials which is always handy.

I guess I still need to make my preset package of the Volumeshaders as standard C4D materials. Said I was going to do that aes ao, neer got around to it. only one I have done is cheen, wehich is avaliable in some post about a mountain on the bhodinut forums.
