I'm looking forward to getting a raptor for my new cube here in a week or two to be used as a system disk.. mmmm..

Enjoy!

Why not get the quieter, faster, cheaper, larger Hitachi drive?....

Id prefer the sheer speed over space when it comes to the system disk (the C: drive). I also like to keep my system disk partition limited to 40gig or so, so 74gigs is plenty. It will have a 120gig drive next to it for regular storage. I don't like using a whole massive drive as one partition (too much fragmentation), or as multiple partitions that include the system drive since XP re-lables everything the wrong way when you reload on that drive without whiping all the partitions first. grr..

I do plan on getting two of those Deskstars next month to replace the dual 120s in my NAS though. Half a terabyte of network storage. :)
