This is a single frame taken from a 40 second animation. The sunglasses and the wooden post were created with Maya 4, and the background matte was painted in Photoshop 6. The final animation was composited in After Effects 5, and was essentially a mock television commercial for the sunglasses with a very slow, clean, quiet, 'Corona-Like' look and feel.

The lighting was created from the environment itself. HDRI isn't technically supported in Maya 4 if you aren't using the MentalRay setup, but it can be done if you know a few tricks (figuring it out was part of what I was trying to accomplish with the project).

Feed back is appreciated, and thanks for taking a look:)

looks good. I really like the wood texture. lighting seems good. Theres not much to it though... Is the matt painting painted blurry? or have you blurred it? I think it could be a little less blurry. Is that it in the reflection of the sunnies?
