Animal Logic is a digital production company at the forefront of the international visual effects industry. Animal Logic is currently seeking a Character Rigger for a CG feature project.
The main objective of this position is to design, develop and implement multiple character rigs. This is a hands on role.
This position reports to the Character Supervisor. Responsibilities include:
* Prototyping and developing rigs and systems
* Ensuring that all rigs meet a very high standard
* Overseeing rigs as they move through the animation pipeline
* Developing tools and procedures to optimize animation workflow
* Developing fast effective ways to process geometry ready for delivery to other departments
This position requires strong knowledge of XSI and J Script. Applicants must have experience with character rigging and ideally experience in developing character pipelines. A background in film or television production, with character pipelines and rigging would be an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to this position.
