Is there a way to change the splash window

Hi,

I just did a search on the Google Corel Painter Support newsgroup using the words Painter IX Splash screen and got this list of threads:

Read all of them before attempting to remove the splash screen as I vaguely recall there's a possibly unwanted side effect that may be more unpleasant than the hand (which one can get used to and not even notice after a while).
