Hello,
I'm having some problems with Mentral Ray and shadows for an animation and noticed that it is displaying shadows on my background (sphere with normals fliped), even when the cast/recieve checkboxes are unchecked in the properties setting.
I did a quick test scene to try and fix this problem and noticed that scanline rendering works fine, but as I am using Mentral ray materials in my scene I can't switch back.
Is there any way for me to tell Mental Ray to ignore my background, or is there a better way that I can do the background for it?
The scene is a space station with a space background thats mapped to the sphere.
Thanks!
DracoNB
PS: I just wrote a longer post for this but hit back on my mouse when going to submit so sorry if I didn't give enough info. :(
