CGTalk - Combustion Tracker question

I am trying to track a shot to stabilize it. The shot is farely long with alot of movement, so I will need to change the refrence point several times. The problem is I cant seem to get it to change the reference point. I read through the help file and all it said I have to do is pause it and then change the refrence point and continue analyzing it. When I do this, the tracker either goes crazy and flys off the footage, or just goes back to the original tracking point. Any idea what im doing wrong??

oh yeah, im using combustion 3.0.0.161

Try to update you C* copy to 3.04, I remenber that I had some problems with the stab op in previous versions as well, just can't remenber which one now.

Case it doesn't help I'll try to help you better.

I upgraded, but I still seem to be having the same problem. Any ideas?
