HEy thanks for the comments :) I appreciate that a lot. I used 3d studio max 4.0 For this and brazil rendering system. I wish I had rendered out higher resolution textures initially because then I could have gotten into even more details on the maps.. ah well. What do you think of the wings? Do the colors and texture fit her overall?

You posted about the eyes right as I sent the last message hehe I guess the eyes have not been textured yet thus they look funny. I think I may need to add some eyelids too... that would be good haha Thanks for brining that up I think I sorta neglected them earlier and forgot to go back and make some. hehe -Jeremy-

Well now that i look at it again..the upper lip is really getting on my nerv hehe...fix that first...cuz the upper one is WAY to fat..and the sides jus flows out...no protrudeness at all...and that jus looks weird.... hope to see some edits

great looking wings jerm. I really like them great trans and great alterations of color. You might think about doubling your texture and going back and adding in some little detail. Maybe a little something of a bump map might help. I don't know looks pretty good to me.

thanks adam :) I was mixing bird wings insect wings and fish fins conceptwise when doing them. All textures painted from scratch like usual hehe. That is a good idea doubleing the texture and adding small stuff. What do you think of those scales? hehe I spent all night getting those to look the way I wanted. -Jeremy-

they looks good but I think they might benifit from a lite matching bump map that taper from flatter toward the top and more extruded looking at the bottom. Keep up the good work hun

Thanks a lot Navel :) Adam I will try that thanks for the info. I am now working with a bone/bip mix for her body and wings. Me and one of the other animation students are gonna meet at 1pm in 209 to start getting some of the shots from our short underway.
Hopefully all goes well and time permits.

Thanks a lot :) the ironic thing is that the opacity map on the wings took the least time of all hehe tomorrow I am meeting with fellow classmates to animate her :) hopefully I can post some action shots. Thanks again -Jeremy-
