hi there
im using adt2005 at collage and im exporting files to cinema 4d.
i wonder if its possible to connect material to group of objects.
for example:
i have a layer with set of windows, and i want that the windows frames will be paint with same material and the glass with the "Glass" material.
what i realy mean is that i dont want to paint 25 windows and doors.

i cant connect the frames to one layer and the glasses to another.

In ADT take a window style go to - format- style manager - go to your Aec obejct to be changed, in this case the window and modifiy its model display properties, change the glass to one color sash to another and frame to some other. then import to cinema as dxf. make sure your import settings are not set to "connect obejcts by layer". Your imported window will be named A-Glaz for example but it will be divided by the colors you gave it. so your frames will be one object, glass one object etc.
