Hi, I'm developing a Windows 2D title using a 3D accelerated graphics engine.

I have spent the last 4 months helping the author of the game engine and now it's time to make something using it.

I have some original "programmer art" that for my standard is not too bad but for anyone else probably it "reeks".

I want the game to be a "working resume". I've spent a lot of time extending the game engine and tweaking the graphics but would rather use some professional looking sprites.

The sprites are quite simple and the aliens are made up of wings, legs, body, mouth and damage decals that are composed when rendered.

It's a simplish shooter but has a few unique twists and some "reactive physics".

I'm currently at home looking after my wife who has been sick for a while so have the chance to develop this title. Please visit my website for more details.

If you would like your art in a game then this is the chance. I can only spare a maximum of A$200 as incentive but the number of sprites is not large at the moment. It's more quality than quantity. You would also be placed in the credits of the game which you could then use in your own resume if wanted.

Main sprite sheet (I have a photoshop layered file of this!) Notice how the bits below are built up into the aliens above.

The background has stars and a few planets but they're faded a bit otherwise they make it hard to spot bombs and other avoidable ovjects. I rendered the planets last night and they turned out very well... apart from some looking more like marbles!

The alien mouths are fully animated and I can compose the frames in any order for any duration of time at will. The engine supports full rotation and scaling effects, alpha blending, stretching and other ways or torturing sprites.

As it would be a joint effort I can easily add some of your ideas into the game.
