Title: Marvel Villain - Concept Car
Name: Jeff Garstecki
Country: United States
Software: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop

This was my entry into the 2004 Motor Trend Contest. The theme was "brand it your way" in which you took a company that doesn't make a car and designed something you think they might make. I chose Marvel Comics and came up with this design. I did not want to make a Batmobile like vehicle (a car for a specific character in the comic universe), but a real world solution of what they might make in the near future. So the package is realistically proportioned and has similar stats as the Viper SRT-10 (which it would be a competitor in the super muscle class).

thank you for looking at my work.

You've done it again Stecki...

Awesome concept. I think it suits the Marvel name in it's style and presence.

the render's great, but if you're going to submit this to a contest, check your punctuation. you've got a well written description in the background, but it seems that you love to use the comma and it's working against you. this is particularly true in the second and third sentence.

aye thanks for the responses. actually the contest deadline for entries was sept. 13th, 2004. the contest is held every year and motor trend usually announces the theme in june or july if my memory is working. it's a really fun contest to try for esp. since anyone can enter so you get a lot of great entries from both car and non car people's alike. they had a lot of entries on display at the California Intl. Auto Show up in anahiem ca the other week.

this is the rear view:

Nice work. Your concept car really looks nice and ready for some action :) The thing I liked most about it were the outermost points of the car. Those look awsome. To me, those outermost parts make the car look like it's wearing a mask of some kind. Awsome.
