I'm learning character animation. Does anyone know where to find some illustrations on the different shapes mouths make when saying different sounds?

Preston Blair's Cartoon Animation has a chapter on dialogues.

I've gone the whole phoneme path many a time, and strongly recommend doing it.

Afterwards I'd buy Jason Osipa's book 'stop staring' and check out his treatment for lipsync
It's a far simpler workflow.
