I have a little problem here. . .again. I have to put hair on a character. The problems is that when I put hair on my model, it's floating when up put some surface approximisation. Like the fur was about an inch higher that the surface. I could simply make a new model hirez with the subdividion tool but it becomes complicated to texture with the texture editor(too many polygons). So the best would be to be able to put the hair on the surface approximation model but we cant select it! So I'm a little busted! If anyone knows how to select the surface approximation model or any other solution make me know! . . .and I hope my explanations are clear enough! :hmm:

you can use duplicate from geometrie approximation your uv' s will be there
and apply the hair to this new mesh(but will have a lot of guides, or
put your hairs on another model that is
a little negative push, that s what i am doing
