I am starting to texture this model please critique the model and/or texture


what version do you prefer

the proportions look ok.

my only 2 crits are

the surface of the mesh looks very "wobbly" or "blob-like"

and the thumb placement looks a little off.

i'm going to assume this was done in ZB...

In the 3/4 view the head looks like a diffrent skin color than the body. This makes it look detached. The body looks convincing with the exception of the hands. The proportions look off to me. The index finger looks very short in comparison to the rest of the hands. The fourth finger actually looks longer than the index finger. Other than that I think you have a very life-like model at this distance.

I must say I realy like the lower part of the legs (and backside of knees) The feet buggs me however. Cant see what to make different but the seem undetailed long and too flat.

the head seems to be shifted too far behind. sure, the spine ends in quite the middle of the skull. but imagine first to place the head as a sphere on the neck and then pull the face out of it. means, the face it outside. you can recognize it at the ears, they must be more in the middle of the neck from the sideview respecting the proportions of its head.

the head here needs to be moved a bit to the front.
