Alright, having a bit of a problem trying to figure something out.

Lets say I model something called Object A. Then, I UV map, UVW Unwrap, and arrange the UV map for this object completely, then skin it. After doing this, I decide I would like to make a new object called Object B. I UV map and UVW Unwrap this model and skin it. Now... Is there any way that I can combine these 2 objects into one object with a shared UV map? I understand that IF I was to be able to do this, I would probably have to re-arrange the UV map so everything fits right again, but I can't seem to get the UV maps for each object to remain intact... When I combine them, one of the UV maps for one of the objects just does not appear to be there. How do I pull this off? :(

EDIT** I'm using 3D Studio Max 6 and Adobe Photoshop 7

If you just attach the two models, you shouldn't have any problems. You might want to collapse the stack on both of them first back down to editable poly before you attach.
