gfkostas 11-04-2004, 09:06 PM I have done an animation path with a plane and am trying to make it last 20 sec.When i click the play button to test it the plane reach the end of the curves within 3 sec.how do i make the plane move slower and therefore last 20sec?

Select motionPath node, open dope sheet editor and adjust duration for U value attribute.
You can do the same with graph editor

It doesnt let me change the value.It says it cannot remove the keys

I didn't say you change the U Value.
I said you stretch the range in dope sheet editor.
What part is not clear?

I dont quite understand how to stretch the range.I am on the dope sheet and i cant see how to stretch the damn thing

- Select the move tool ( the one you move ojects with).
- In dope sheet editor select the endpoint of uValues's range ( it should turn yellow when selected)
- Middle drag it to a frame you wish to be last in path animation

Done it.Many thanks! I use to make the animation as movies with the playblast option.Is that the right way?

For previewing - yes. But final animations should be done by rendering sequence of frames to image files ( using batch render ). Then put images together in compositing or video editing progrm, and export to desired final format.
