I just did a quick search and was surprised this topic hasn't been discussed yet, as far as I can tell!
Anyway, I'm planning to switch from Windows to Linux, the sooner, the better. There's pretty much only two apps holding me back, and that's After Effects and Painter. Seeing that Photoshop works pretty will in WINE, I thought I might ask here if somebody's gotten Painter to run in way a that's acceptable to actually get proper work done.
The version number doesn't matter much to me, anything above 5 or 6 should be fine for my needs. So... has anyone tried succesfully?
