Hi!
I was searching a notebook for maya, i was between a p4-m with gforcego and powerbook g4 with ati 9700.
I read that ati's in pc aren't very good for maya, anyone have a powerbook with an ati ?
Ibook have geforcego, so what it's better p4-m with geforce, powerbook g4 with ati or ibook with geforce go ?
I know that dell m60 have a quadro but i can't afford that, my limit was 2000 €.

Anyone could help me ?

Thanks

P.D. I have searched and read it all, but i don't find anyone go have mac with ati 9700 and say her experiences with maya.
Please, help me :-\

when i first got maya, it was being run on a P4 m 1.7ghz with 1 gb of ram and an old first generation ati mobile radeon with 32mb of ram, running on the default drivers,

this was used for modeling high rez poly character, and some particle stuff, and i never had a glitch or any funky behavior. and this was an old radeon, so i would assume the new high end notebook vid cards would run the same, if not better.

i've not any experience on the g4, but i know an animator who runs maya on a powerbook g4, with a 9700 radeon and he never complains.
