Why not make your own textures using photoshop and some basic texture maps you can find using google?

Just go on the web and make a research! ;)

Go on Japanese websites about furniture and clothing etc
You will find plenty and then you can just crop them put them down in PS and make them tileable or anything you like.

Don't panic!

In the amount of time you have wasted waiting for a reply you could have made some textures- 1 day has passed. Even if they were "Sucky" they would be better than nothing.
Sometimes things are going to be so obscure you aren't going to find a premade example:shrug:
I thought my answer was helpful when you consider the info you provided-good luck

I've been doing searches/research as im waiting. Which is part of the problem. Spend tons of time trying to find an image and no working. And the images ive come across are too damn tiny. It would be a pixelated mess on my models. We've even been told not to use them b/c of this very reason. THAT is why I'm asking on the forum.

Thank you for any help

http://images.google.com/images?q=tatami&hl=en

dude, Google --> Images --> type in "tatami"

the first two pages have at least 6 pictures suitable for tiling or fiddling with.
