Hi, I 've just received a new pc but I've got a pb whith the Geforce 6800, each time I install the drivers and reboot, the screen become black and the only solution is to restart the system, go to safe mode and uninstall the drivers. I ve tried a lots of recent drivers both from nvidia and guru3d. I thought it could be the power supply but it's a 480W from Antec, I think it's enough. I've also test the geforce 6800 on another PC and it worked really fine.
Don't know what to do now, could somebody help me?

Hi,
if i remember correctly the 6800 comes with two power connectors. You should make sure that each connector uses a seperate cable to the powersupply.

SrekIt depends. The GT requires one molex, the Ultra requires two.

I doubt that your problem is hardware related though. It would seem more like a software problem, even more if you tested it on another computer.

Do you have an integrated video card that maybe you didn't deactivate in the bios? You should try that.

What monitor have you got plugged into this thing? It almost sounds like the resolution or refresh rate that is set by default is out of spec for your monitor.
