hey
installed SP2 a few days ago, so far everything fine. I decided to use the built in firewall as it now allows per-application restriction. Anyway, when I first started MIRC (an irc client) the firewall popped up and asked if I wanted to unblock this app, before I had even pressed unblock I saw that mirc was already connected to the server, why is that, shouldnt the firewall have completely blocked the app from connecting before I told it to unblock? This happened with all the apps I tried, is it supposed to be this way? Also in general how secure is this firewall, I know its not as safe as some other 3rd party firewalls out there, but can I at least feel safe to use it to protect my one workstation?
