I made this model for a uni assignment which introduces us to lip sync. However, its just dawned on me...is it possible to lip sync a bear? As this image shows bears almost have a beak type mouth, I seriously can not think of any mouth movements you could get with it other than open and shut. I don't want my bear to just open and close its mouth as thats missing the point of the exercise.

Its too late to change though, I'm trying to think of a 3D bear which talks to see how others have tackled it but I can't think of any. Also, maybe I have modeled it too realistically?, and it needs to be more like a cartoon type bear mouth? Any advice?

I'd say you're stuck because he's lacking a mouth cavity...Maybe even some teeth would help.

If you give him a cavity you'll open up wasy more options for yourself and teeth would really add to his ability for facial expressions
