I rigged my character with IK controlling the arms, legs and feet (including a "foot roll" controller). I animated a quick walk cycle to test the rig and it works pretty well. The problem is that when I try to move my character in space (to simulate walking) I can't get the heel splines (part of the foot IK) I set-up to move with it. Anyone have and hints or suggestions for moving an entire rig like this?

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. These control splines are linked to the IK system in the foot (for the "foot roll" controller). I linked the pelvis and the arm IKs to a dummy as well as the foot controls. Everything follows the dummy except these "Heel control splines". It's necessary to have these splines follow as well because they are essential for controlling the feet. Please HELP... :hmm:

Without having your specific rig it's hard to say for sure but...

... you need to link, or position constrain, those heel splines to another part of your heirarchy. Which method you choose (link or constraint), and which object you choose to make them follow (foot, leg IK goal, root, etc) will depend on how you have set up your specific heirarchy and they all work slightly differently in different situations.
