First Hi to all
So like the motion blur shader for MentalRAy I am trying to reproduce the same method for renderman using the reelsmart motion blur plugin or smoothkit
My problem is how to get the 3d motion blur data from renderman and transfer it to colors
it will be a cool extension if the method can make 3d depth of field color export and to be reused by the same plugins above
thanks for evry feedback on the case

the motion vector is dPdtime.

transform that to NDC and you're away.

You can get depth from camera as depth(P)

thanks for the reply dPdtime is ver useful I read in the manual about "hider" that can compute only the dPdtime as a arbitary output data but is it possible without writing a shader using secondary in prman options or if i need to write shader how to use dPdtime it is new for me and what color data will be understandable by reelsmart or smoothkit or else
here a image using this vector but i don't know the values and how to avoid primary rendering
