Hi guys,

I figured a great way to learn is work on this challenge with you all. I'm trying different methods to make the coaster and track, and kinda like the sled/car I have now. Seems to stick a little or bump into something I'm not sure. You can see in this video it suddenly stops like it hit something on the track.

hey - it's looking good! Quite promising. Did you turn the track into a passive rigid body and the sled into an active? With a little gravity of course... :) Best of luck!

Which Software do you use? 3ds max + Reactor 2?

Looks like the simulation just stops there.

Ahh, that looks like maya. That's exactly the problem I have too. And I found no real cure for it. The collision sim just bumps into an edge and stops there. Good luck finding a way around that bug.

Yep I turned the track into a passive rigid body and the cart into an active rigid body. And yep Colt you're right, I forgot to mention I'm using Maya. Quite frustrating at the moment since I see nothing that should be causing the bump. It's just a cylinder for the track. I'll try and think of another way to do this and see what happens.
