View Full Version : Jiggly Parts Other Than Using Bones With SIK?
bobzilla 11-01-2004, 01:16 AM Has anyone come up with an alternative to using bones and Soft IK for getting jiggly parts on a character? Not that I'm against using bones and with SIK, but with all theparts I may want jiggling, it would make for quite a bone-heavy character.

simplest and in a lot of cases sufficient way is to use a single bone and an antenna expression.
(its good enough for jiggling breasts on semi-realistic humanoid females, if you know what I mean), hardly eats up performance and is very flexible (plus you dont have to hassle with SIK reset and stuff.
Antenna expression check out the screenshot, it uses a coffe node and is easy to recreate.
I did not invent this, but got the hint in a german forum

Hey, Olli, that Xpresso set up is really cool! I can't wait to try it out on a rig.
