I did this time lapse of a face in xsi a few days ago, and i would like to post online so its a nice sized file instead of 600mb. i was wondering does anyone know a great codec, and great codec settings for this? every time i have tried divx, it looks terribel and the file size is still really big. sorenson3 codec looks nice but still has huge file size as well. anyone know a really good codec, and settings to use for it that make it small but it still look nice so people can see what's going on?

What resolution did you capture at? And how long is it?

640x480 19 min long.

What framerate have you used? 15 fps should be ok for internet. Also make sure to only use a base picture every 10 seconds or so.
640x480 is also a pretty high in resolution for such a long film on the net.

640x480 is huge for web display. and like Srek said, lower your framerate. You might also try editing your clip down from 19 min, if it does not have to be that long.
