View Full Version : Anybody here ever modify Generi's Geometry?
strick9 10-31-2004, 07:45 AM I was trying to make Generi more female like, and made some modifications to his gemetry, but when I rotate the generi_moveAll_ctrl The edited verticies go all wonky on me. any reason why this might happen?

Wuddup, J! It's typically a big no-no to try to edit bound skin. It will usually cause big, strange problems, or just go back to the way it was. If you felt daring, you could unbind the skin, edit it, and rebind it. I'm going to start playing with Generi soon, so right now I don't know how well he's skinned, and if it would be a huge ordeal to re-weight his skin after rebinding it.
On second thought, you could probably duplicate the geometry you want to deform (I guess he's all one piece, eh?), make your tweaks to make him a girl, then apply the female body to his original skin as a blendshape. I can show you how to do this in the lab sometime.
