The picture of the villain perhaps spoils alot. Mr Incredible is in prison with lightning cuffs (because I saw him with his arms spread out like that in another picture with the villain.) And the villian is with him chained up in with the operator girl. What's going on there. The big bad villain is working with the operator lady. i'm not sure if anyone understands anything that I'm trying to say. I'm not sure if anyone understands anything at all. All I know, all I know, is that I have nothing better to do at this point in my life but try and write some freaken post on cg talk that will show, that the picture with the villain, mr incredible and the operator .. . . . is . . . . . a . . . . . spoiler.

Man, I cannot WAIT to see this film!! :D
I was standing right outside the El Capitan theatre the other day when the world premiere was on and boy did I want to try and make a run to get into that theatre :) Too bad the security was so tight :p

Don't want to be a heretic or so, but am I the only one who thinks that the Frozone
character (Jackson) looks a bit simple (eyes etc) compared with Shrek 2 or Nemo ?

It looks to me the idea was to give them all a semi-cartoony feel. Heck, if any of the characters had ankles that thin in real life they would snap on the first step :D

I guess I am just to accustomed to the depth of Nemo/Bug's Life/Monsters Inc. eyes :)
So I find them a bit too boring in the "Incredibles", but it probably won't make a difference when I am rolling on the floor, laughing :)

Perhaps they are less stylized because they are trying to imitate an abstracted human existence.... rather than that of a talking fish/monster/ant... within which they could get away with more surreal and imaginitive alternatives to 'bog-standard' eyes?
Just a thought.

I think The Incredibles has an awesome style and really reminds me of The Iron Giant, even though it`s 3d - I personally prefer a movie that's just "round" and beautiful over a movie that looks good but nothing else.
