"Forbes Magazine Editor Steve Forbes said he believes Apple CEO Steve Jobs could do both CEO jobs at Disney and Apple. He didn't explain, or suggest Jobs stay as CEO of Pixar. "Walt Disney himself was an artistic genius. The Disney company needs that kind of vision again. Steve Jobs can provide it," Forbes wrote in his column."

if he could do for disney what he did for Pixar, I'd say go for it.
I'd rather see Pixar go it's own route. In my ideal imaginary world, they would form a coalition to help smaller studios with like ideas (such as quality animations and story, etc...) reach the public. Some of those former Disney animators that formed companies probably could have used something like that. Imagine, instead of "Disney presents a Pixar..." it would be "Pixar presents a... ".

Maybe is Steve became CEO of Disney, Pixar would then = Disney North.
Disney might just end up being Steve's destiny. I think he would do a good job...he does well with allowing good people to do what they do best, with very little restriction...

I believe Steve would be great for Disney. But I'd be sad if he'd leave Pixar for it... they're doing such a great job now. There must be others like him out there, no?
And don't you think it's funny that Disney and Pixar just split up, and they're now talking about replacing the first CEO by the second? It kind of prooves everyone is on Pixar's side nowadays.

Obviously if he became CEO of Disney, he really wouldnt be leaving Pixar. Pixar and Disney's deal would be back on 100%. It might be the best thing that could happen for Disney and Pixar.

Really?
Personally. I'd like to see how Pixar fare on their own. It would certainly prove to the masses that it can be done. Providing you have the imagination and expertise. And with that in mind, I think they could do it.
And should.

If it were just Disney studios and Disney themeparks, than yes, I think Jobs could revitalize Disney. But Disney owns ABC and other big media corperations and I just dont see Jobs as a big media mogul, unless you want to see more Ted Turner type networks.

Pixar is not successful because of Steve Jobs, It's successful because they are an innovative company with the greatest technology people, the greatest artists and the greatest story tellers. Steve Jobs is there as a figure head and pretty much lets them do what they do best.
one good thing if this happen, is Steve jobs would most probably try to stop disney from making sequels to pixar movies..
I don't think Steve Jobs, would even want to run disney.

Business does not work that way. Artists with really good ideas but bad at business sense will always fail. I don't care how amazing your product, idea, innovation, etc... It happends all the time. This is a huge misconception of artists. That whole "if you make it they will come" BS thinking that most people in this field operate on is retarded.
Figurehead my ass. Steve Jobs is just as important to a successfull Pixar as the artists are. They work hand in hand. Without both sides the company would fail.
